BEACH DETRITUS

 

Having fun on the rainy days doing small collages with 3-D objects but its a sunny day today so off to the beach to do a little plein aire painting.

TWO NEW COLLAGES

Two small acrylic and collage paintings ready to take to Houston.

Well, I'm off on a new tangent.  Have been having fun working with adding glass collage to my paintings.  I am getting a few things done to have in the gallery for the Christmas season and will be going to Houston in a couple of weeks and then driving out to Virginia with a little sight-seeing along the way.  Have so far escaped any storms on the island but it is very quiet here so looking forward to my trip.  Will try to post any more things I get completed before I go.

 

This is another painting done plein-aire in Creede during the Stephen Quiller workshop.  He took us up to an area on the edge of the burn from the fires this summer.
